The Super League’s Board of Directors has take the decision to introduce a Fair Play competition for the second round of match days, due to begin on Saturday 18 September. A trophy and a cash prize of two thousand dollars (TTD 2’000) will be awarded to the club with the least DEMERIT POINTS at the end of the season. This competition will will not include League Cup matches.

The guidelines for the Fair Play competition are:

1. Teams will incur DEMERIT POINTS as follows:

*1 point per yellow card
*2 points per red card resulting from two cautions in the same match (so 1 per yellow card PLUS 2 per resulting red card)
*3 points per straight red card

2. Match Commissioners will award Fair Play points to each team at the end of each match on a scale from 0 to 5 (0 being the minimum/worst and 5 being the maximum/best) for general deportment and behavior, fair play by players, etc. In the event two cubs are tied for the LEAST demerit points at the end of the season, the tie breaker will be the Fair Play points awarded by the Match Commissioners.

3. Cards accumulated in the first round of matches will NOT be counted, That is, each club will begin the second round of matches with a clean slate and only cards accumulated in the second round of matches will be counted. HOWEVER, all suspensions resulting from first round matches will carry over into the second round of matches per normal TTSL procedure.

The TTSL Board has introduced this competition to Code of Conduct instituted for for all parties – players, staff, referees and supporters – at the beginning of the 2018 season.
